Staring at the sea

Anything you wanna say, say it!

If there's one aspect of Mother Nature that gets me going and keeps me amazed no matter how often I see it, it's the sea (well, sorry girls, you as well of course :D ). The sea has something very poetic as well: it's a frontier that cannot be overcome and a rough power we can never dominate, yet at the same time it also represents freedom and escapism, so it holds two contradicting emotions at once. Also, the sea is the best antidepressant you can imagine. Nothing can clear someone's head as a walk on a windswept desolate beach, while with a bit less wind and a nice person next to you it can be the ultimate romantic moment.

Post your best oceanic or maritime pictures!

This topic is just a devotion to one of my longest lasting loves of my life: the sea.

Of course the topic title does contain a little wink towards The Cure, I deliberately did that :D

I have such a hard time living in places that I cannot be at the sea within an hour of travel.
A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"
