What are the things in life that make you smile or happy? It could be a picture, some lovely words, music etc.

Here are some of mine...

I think this is a beautiful photo of the lights lighting up a midnight sky.

The one and only Smiths. A band that caught my attention a couple of years ago and I have never looked back. Some of the lyrics are rather sad and I can see myself in them but for some reason it makes me happy.
And I seem to smile most often when I hear these words as I know it leads to a wonderful masterpiece,

Take me out tonight...

I am a huge sports fan. Australian Rules and Cricket taking precedence before any other game.

Ooh, a dreaded sunny day. I love sunshine and simply sitting outside with a book with some music on in the background. Even a picnic.

What makes me smile/happy?

* obviously, travelling is my main goal in life, and thinking of travels, visiting new places (even if just a few miles out of Belfast), or even just reading travel reports, can make me very happy.
Main travelling goals and thus main points of happiness:

Greenland and the Arctic in general
Image

big metropolises somehow float my boat, especially at night when the city is lit and full of life. Main goals: London, Hong Kong, Moscow.

* I can be very passionate and happy when surrendering to my musical passions. Mainly strong lyrics can get me in extacy, but sometimes also other tunes.
Main points of happiness:

Echo & The Bunnymen

Bauhaus

* talking to a really nice girl can be extremely pleasant (preference for the shy type of girl who blushes and looks away when I say something nice  )

* I am also addicted to sports, but my main addiction there is football. I also adore visiting football stadiums (groundhopping), mainly really old authentic grounds

* last but not least, some decent humor always does the trick as well to make me smile, preferably this man:

PS: the few links are there because the pics are worth seeing, but somehow they didn't display because of a 'dynamic image' that couldn't be displayed. So I just left the links so that you all can still see the pics

Eddie Izzard, my Mom, animals, my friends Med and Harris, B movies, first wave punk--- heck, lots of things make me smile-- like getting letters from Tru and teaching English classes.
A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"
