DREAM
I was having sex with my ex (I hate her) and then she stabbed me with a huge knife! :o My chest was a bloody piece of smashed meat.

I woke up with Vanessa looking at me  ... terribly mad with me because I was screaming my ex's name while I was asleep.

We are OK now. I can't help the way I dream, my darling.

last night i dreamt about dinner  i went to dinner as usual with my usual dinner gang, only we sat in different places (we have a kind of "formation" that we always sit in at dinner, cos theres 1 girl in our gang who always wants a certain chair, so no-one is allowed to sit in it, and in my dream i was in her chair instead). i often dream about this lot, but never about dinner. twas a bit odd. still, the rearranged formation meant that i was opposite dan ;)

(From an MSN conversation that I couldn't be bothered to edit, but my dream details are there.)

i had a dream that i died yesterday

it was my first ever

i actually believed it

i was shot...

you know how you forget dreams so quickly?

i think i said something like "i want to die at abbey road"

and i thought to myself, in the dream, that this is the time in a film when i would be saved

and then he shot me (it was in an airport)

and i went back to a different part of my life

and i thought maybe it was true

that when you die, you go to a different part of your life

until you die again

I guess so. When I woke up I wrote it all down on a bit of cardboard, but it being about 6am, most of it is completely incomprehensible. I love dreams that are believable though, it's so much more exciting than real life.

glad you shared that one elkster-a-rooni

had a similar dream this week wherein i was a dead soldier trying to talk to the living, only to find i could only talk to other dead soldiers. that one kinda freaked me out.

yet....my other dream of transforming into R2-D2 with jet rockets to escape the bad guys just in the knick of time made me wake up smiling and understanding yet another level of my eccentricity. :D

I dreamed of a purple sliced ham. I went looking for the middle of it and that took forever, the slices just kept coming. The dream stopped when I finally found the middle.

This night I dreamed of a huge swimming pool. It had high bridges and although I'm afraid of heights I climbed them. On my way down I did gymnastics on these bridges.
I also met the band Slayer on these bridges. Tom Araya and Jeff Hanneman in front of me. I passed Kerry King, someone behind me told him to take his time and he said he would.

Dreams rule B)

i love resurrecting threads...

so a week ago i bought a new video game. it's based on The Lord Of The Rings.
i always play the good guys, the Men Of Gondor or the Defenders Of Minas Tirith.
it's really hard, and last night i got brave so i made just one of the bad guy armies tougher on the computer.

they kicked my ass.
i had a dream about it.
frantically trying to find my sword while orcs and goblins and trolls ransacked my home. it was ugly.
....and my dogs were there.....sheer craziness.

i have a recurring theme in my dreams (not a recurring dream, i guess, cos the exact details often changes, but the theme is the same) that there is some sort of weird creature (a monster maybe) that lives in my garden pond! often it is a giant fish with sharp teeth, or something along those lines, although the last time i had that dream it looked like those sea reptiles that lived at the same time as the dinosaurs. not the long-necked Nessie type tho, the other type (not sure what they're called). anyway, the last time i had that dream, it jumped out of the pond and banged its head against the patio doors and i got a bit scared that it would get inside the house...
this is one of the most common recurring themes i have in my dreams, and i'm starting to wonder if it means something!

Does anyone else find that psychologists/psychiatrists are often asking this question in everyday conversations?

yes, it looked like those "infernal things" as you called them, especially like the bottom 2 in that picture. (thank you for finding that pic!) normally when i have this theme of "some big weird scary thing is living in our humble little garden pond" in my dreams, the mysterious thing in the pond is scaly like a fish, but this time it didn't, instead it looked just like one of those. my astrological sign is Libra btw.

I had a lovely little dream the other day of going to an estate sale and finding a whole rack of Moz and Smiths albums being sold-- :D. I think it means that I love the Smiths... even in my sleep!
