Awww, whoop, birthdaaaay! *ahem* Anyhoo, thanks guys <!--emo&:)-->Image<!--endemo--> Amongst other things, I got The Hulmerist DVD, which I whole heartedly recommend, if not just for the great footage of a Smiths fan eating a daffodil... Hehe, amazing stuff! Now that is dedication.

Any other Sept/Oct babies? There are usually a lot...

I decree today that life is simply taking and not giving
England is mine, it owes me a living
But ask me why and I'll spit in your eye
Oh, ask me why and I'll spit in your eye
But we cannot cling to the old dreams anymore
No, we cannot cling to those dreams
Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body?
I dunno...
Under the iron bridge we kissed
And although I ended up with sore lips
It just wasn't like the old days anymore
No, it wasn't like those days
Am I still ill...?

geez...my birthday is all the way in July! *frown* darn.
A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"

Workers' day for me... Some might say it is sarcastic... <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo-->
Yes, we may be hidden by rags
But we have something they'll never have
And if the people stare
Then, the people stare
Oh I really don't know
And I really don't care

May 1st. At least over here it is called the workers' day... Don't know how it is called in England though <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo-->

It's just called May Day. The first Sunday in May is always a holiday I think though, not 100% sure.

Over here it is dedicated to the workers... The first Sunday in May is also a holiday here, and it's Mother's day... Is it me or do we have far too many days for all sorts of things? <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo-->

Yes. According to this McDonalds advert (reliable source, I know...), some random Saturday or Friday or something is National Children's Day. <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo--> I wish people would stop inventing random days!!

It's seems like a long while since been here. I was on a short 'holiday' (elko, I can't even say vacation anymore, not on here anyway!), celebrating my recent birthday *gasp*. My hubby took me on a short cruise and gave me an iPod for my birthday. I've been very busy tinkering with it the last week or so and I'm obsessed with it now. To have all my Smiths music at the touch of a button, expecially on the road is heaven. <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo--> Now to catch up on stuff here...

Nice one. Everyone seems to have MP3 players, I'm so envious. I might get one of those Creative ones for xmas.
Anyway, glad you had a nice holiday (you're right, vacation is not an acceptable terms <!--emo&:P-->Image<!--endemo-->), and happy belated birthday.

Wheee, glad you had a good birthday, don't you just love iPods? Although my battery seems to get very low suspiciously quickly... It is also quite annoying that you can't actually turn them off.

Haha, quite possibly!! Apparently I should take up pencil sketching (I am in need of a hobby).
