Oops, yeah! It hadn't clicked at the time that there was someone else with such a similar name (good choice, BTW!) - er, I'll see about putting up an avatar that makes it clear we're not the same person.

Maybe I can be the "New boy with the thorn..." <!--emo&:D-->Image<!--endemo-->

OK, back to the thread topic!

I wouldn't worry about it, I think we have three Girls Afraid. I'm sure we can tell you apart!

Do introduce yourself if you get a minute, always helps distinguish people, and then we can all be overly familiar and friendly <!--emo&;)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Favourite track:
This Charming Man, this is a tough choice
Least fovorite track:
Handsome Devil
Best lyric:
Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now
Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:
Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now
Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:
I think Louder than bombs has all of these tracks, and some more. Well it's a compilation, but I think I'll take it over Hatful Of Hollow.

I'm going to choose songs I didn't for the other threads.

Your favourite track: Sheila Take A Bow

Your worst track: Golden Lights

Best lyric:

Throw your homework onto the fire

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:

But don't forget the songs
That made you smile
And the songs that made you cry

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:

Any album with The Smiths on it, will always be good.

Your favourite track: Half a Person

Your worst track: Golden Lights, of course.

Best lyric: And if I seem a little strange... well, that's because I am.

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you: And if you have five seconds to spare, then I'll tell you the story of my life: sixteen, clumsy, and shy. I went to London and I booked myself in at the Y... WCA. I said, 'I like it here, can I stay?'

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.: Fantastic compilation (I only have Louder Than Bombs). I'd place it second in my list of favorite Smiths releases, right below s/t and above The Queen Is Dead. :)

Your favourite track: London - love it, love it, love it!

Your worst track: Golden Lights, possibly the only smiths song i dislike.

Best lyric:

"But don't forget the songs that made you smile
And the songs that made you cry
When you lay in awe
On the bedroom floor
It's a dull world
Smother me, mother..."

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:

"Is it wrong to want to live on your own?"

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:

I never really play the whole albums, just add the songs which arent included to the playlists. When i get driving, i'll have to listen to them as a whole.

Your favourite track:
I would say my ultimate favourite is:
- There is a Light…

Some of my other favourites are:
- Hand in Glove
- Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now
- Sheila Take A Bow

But I also love:
- Panic
- Shoplifters of…
- Bigmouth…
- Ask
- Rubber Ring

Sorry about the long list, but it’s just impossible to pick only one!

Your worst track:
G o l d e n L i g h t s…Sorry, but I think it’s got to my least favourite Smiths song.

Best lyric:

Love the Hand in Glove lyrics, but also Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:

And if the people stare
Then the people stare
Oh, I really don't know and I really don't care

Or..

In my life
Why do I give valuable time
To people who don't care if I live or die ?

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:
Great, as many might have said: There are a lot of songs here, a great collection of classics, and god value for the money.

Your favourite track: ASK AND STRETCH OUT AND WAIT!!!

Your worst track: Golden Lights

Best lyric: Amid concrete and clay
And general decay
Nature must still find a way
AND
And is there any point ever having children ?
Oh, I don't know
- Stretch Out and Wait

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc: It's got sooo many great songs on Louder than Bombs and I love all the tracks except the Golden Lights, this compilation album could even beat Strangeways, here we come!
