25 gruelling questions were submitted from the ruthless, vicious member of Strangeways- all with the purposed of exposing the inner workings of one of its most beloved members-- read on if your stomach can handle it to see the horrifying gutwrenching torture of the sweet, the unsuspecting, the all around great example of a human being MANCSMITHSFAN!!!

1. Your favourite type of jam?

Anything other than a traffic jam

2. Your favourite holiday?

Anywhere nice in Britain. I just think its a fantastic little island. (Not ANYwhere, cut the big cities out of the equation)

3. Do you have any phobias?
Shynessaphobia

4. What super-powers would "Super Mancsmithsfan" have?

Mind-reading skills... I think that sometimes I am telepathic and can read peole rather easily ... maybe most people are just transparent?

5. What first made you want to write?

It just happened. Sometimes I think it was meant to be, perhaps part of my destiny. And the life I have had it is just so easy to draw from experience.

6. What do you plan to do with your writing? Who are you sending it to?

A certain company just sent me an e-mail saying they couldn’t use my poems ... but they were among the best they had had there. It is always a concept, sending my writing away.... I'd love to see my name in print. And I suppose that Journalism would be a lifetime job for folk never tire of scandal!

7. Who, other than le Moz, is your greatest inspiration?

I adore the dandy that is Wilde. He is just larger than life in every shape and form. Sometimes I think I am Wilde's illegitimate son you know?!

8. What is your opinion on the United States?

Great, great, great country. You know, the policies are in resonance with the UK (think IRAQ) but as a country it is just this chequered flag, this tapestry of brilliance and diversity. I wish I could go there!

9. What is your opinion on MySpace?

Yes I have one. Once I can be removed from the stereotype of it being the domain of angst-ridden emos then I think I am safe.

10. Where does Sir Alex buy his chewing gum? (He doesn't seem to like it.)

That man is just a legend! He probably buys it from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, and if he doesn't spit it out when losing he'll turn into his alter-ego of fiery Scotsman and will start kicking boots at people!

11. Do you play an instrument? If not, why not? Are you in a band?
If not, why not? (Please note you don't require musical talent to be in a band.)

I would love to be in a band. The biggest group that has inspired this is Oasis, Just immense and for me embodiments in part of the Beatles and the Smiths. Lyrics man mainly, but the music came easily enough

12. Do you consider yourself successful?
I don't really know tbh. Well I think I am, but sometimes I'll think no I'm nothing. Financially I don’t care whether I am living in a council flat in ten years time... If I can live with my friends and family around me then yes I have been successful.

13. Do you have enemies or something like that? If so, tell us about that.
What have you learned from mistakes?

Someone asked me the other day whether I believed in love at first sight. I said no, but I believe in hate at first sight. I was half-joking of course. In my time as a tenacious youth I have made enemies but I am a pacifist. I have learnt that hating acheives nothing. Hate per se, that is. I can still be allowed to dislike people I hope. lol.

14. What's better than an orgasm?

(Getting hot under the collar of his Next shirt) A sexual orgasm I presume?! I have saw things non-sexual that would give one an orgasm lol. Better than an orgasm? I would say a near-orgasm, not two that is being greedy|!

15. I need a romantic song for tonight, what would you recommend?

Lunar Sea - Camera Obscura. That is a startlingly beautiful song.

16. Do you own a gun? If so, what kind?

Happiness is a warm gun. I think I have just shot myself.

17. Do you have any voyeurs?

This is a porn mag right? All men have secrets....

18. Are you ready for this interrogation to be over? Nervous, perhaps?

I'm liking this. I am really really loving this.

19. What drew you to the Smiths originally?

You know as a Mancunian Smiths fan I have came from the same milieu of maladjustion and loneliness as Morrissey himself. It's incredibly romantic to be part of this backdrop I suppose. And the music.. it's this synergy... this energy. It really is mind-blowing.

20. Tell us something (about yourself) that you don’t think would ever come up on Strangeways.

I'm in love with a girl who works on the checkout of a certain Manchester megastore....

21. It is an absolutely beautiful day outside and you have nowhere that you have to be for exactly 4 days—where do you go for fun? How do you take advantage of the situation?

Probably walk. I can walk and walk. I am walking the length of the country in the Summer for charity if all goes well (Lands end to JOG). Once I walked from Chester to Manchester in training with heavy bags. I walked all night I did.

22. You are trapped on an island and lets face it, somebody has to be eaten. Your companions are one very skinny but thoroughly annoying person and one very large but thoroughly sweet person- it is obvious that you will be stuck there for a long time. Which one do you eat?

Survival of the fattest!

23. Where can we expect to see you in 10 years, ideally?

I was thinking that in five years it would be scary to imagine where I'd be. Ten years is twice as long!
I take each day as it comes, because it will come. It will.

24. Tell us something beautiful.

I'm blinded by golden sunshine streaming through butterfly-wing fanlights. Such a delight how they flutterby.

Sorry. So sorry

25. What would your ideal house look like?

Quirky! A curse is the post-war semi!

26. Do you want to travel in open space?

Not really, earth is fine.

27. How often do you listen to the Smiths nowadays?

Most days. I find I re-discover them most days also. And Moz too. Solo he's great too.

25. Not a question: thanks for being here, you matter.

Thanks. You guys are the best.

Tune in next week for the the gruesome interrogation of our dearly beloved Yandee
