Glad it wasn't just me then. Just remembered a Moz one (from a mate of a mate)

"Love at first sight, may sound shite / but it's true you know"

Guffaw!
:D

"A tough kid who sometimes swallows nails / raised on Christmas day"
From "I Want the One I Can't Have"

"As you cycled by / the vegan of my dreams"
From "Back to the Old House"

"Tyneside with smother you"
From "That Joke isn't funny any more"

An old mate of mine was distraught one day to discover that "Sheila Take a Bow" didn't contain the line "It's not wrong but honest, Dad!"

Anyone got any good ones?

The quick way is to hit the 'reply' button next to someone's post, or otherwise you do it like this:

Code: Select all
Text you want to quote goes here
(Merged this thread with the previous similar one, but thanks for adding yours - they are classics!)

I found out today that in "Sweet and Tender Hooligan" it's not "so you've heard every word but before you decide" but "jury you've heard every word but before you decide." I'm glad I found out; I like the latter better. :D
