Wow did you actually see him snorting the white stuff? Was he cutting lines?

Good story!

He and a load of others, yeah...

They didn't stay long. The club is owned (I think) by someone from Massive Attack so I assume they just knew it as an 'industry' sort of place where they could hang out and take coke without anyone drawing attention to it. I was tempted to put some Smiths on but if he's hanging out with monkey man I have no respect for him really.

er, is this a wind-up or a true story?

If it's not a wind-up I would remove it, what with libel and what ave' you.

Like I say, it's true. (I doubt Andy reads this site, or even anyone connected with him so I'm not really worried about the ramifications, I just thought it might be something worthy of discussion on here.)

Watching Spinal tap last night made me not want to be in a band. That story has, cheers Elks.

You know, eventually bands and musicians find either God or drugs. Thank God for drugs, is all I say! :D

When you told me this I didn't believe you, but I made it seem like I did. Now I feel silly. Is the coke bit true? I thought Ian Brown was the clean living, spiritual type, it's the only thing I liked about him what with his music being dire. How disappointing. As for Andy....he shouldn't cave in to peer pressure. Has he had a haircut? Why didn't you say hello?

I still don't believe you! Where are the photos!?

I don't really understand why I would have made this up... there aren't any photos because we were busy trying to get things running for our clubnight, and I don't know if they would have been to happy to look up from their respective lines and see us snapping away.

What I suppose I didn't make clear was that they definitely weren't at this place because of us or our clubnight. They just went there to do that and didn't stay much longer. Andy looked much like he does in recent photos - longish hair, shades (indoors), green army-ish jacket. Ian Brown looked like a monkey, I can't even remember whether he had clothes on or if it was just his fur.

I'm sorry to have been so disbelieving. Life seems a bit too absurd at times. I thought Andy would be wearing shades. I think he seemed like less of a twat when he was in the smiths, besides all that heroin of course. And when he dyed his hair yellow.

What has made me so cynical?

(Answers on the back of a postcard please)
