Oscar Wilde is to Morrissey

For all things concerning Moz's solo career.

Would you compare the relationship you have with Morrissey similar to the one morrissey has with Oscar Wilde?

I Would <!--emo&:)-->Image<!--endemo-->

As in, hero, influence, reliance upon, etc?

Although nothing I do is really influenced by Morrissey, he was the first lyricist that actually impressed me, and for a while I wrote countless Smiths rip-offs.

What did you mean, anyway?

I idolise him, a lot, a hell of a lot.
Although, I would fear meeting him.
You're gonna kill me, is that your plan?

I expect Morrissey would fear meeting Oscar Wilde more, as he's been dead over hundred years.

Well... define "shrine". It's so subjective <!--emo&;)-->Image<!--endemo-->

A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"

You ask a good question.

Do I idolise Morrissey? No, I do not idolise, Morrissey. Do I have admiration for Morrissey’s lyrical and singing talents? Yes, I do.
