moz-solo to self destruct?

For all things concerning Moz's solo career.

Postby Grim O'Grady » Tue Aug 30, 2005 10:23 pm

will it won't it?
I think it's had its day but I hope we don't get infected with its mental health patients & other psycho's.
Keep moz-solo alive if only has an outpatients forum.
Let's keep this place sound, I think we ought to all post something or reply to a positive post each day in moz-solo to give it good blood.
If I'm wrong (or you feel I'm wrong) then ignore this plea.
thanks anyway for reading

love

Grim

Obviously for me M-Solo is something approaching competition, but I checked it out after you posted this, and it's full of fools.

Just get all the nice ones on here <!--emo&;)-->Image<!--endemo-->

This forum is so much more friendly than m-solo's. Half the posts in their general section aren't even about Moz, they just batter each other with inane insults.

Oh, but don't mention love
I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again
A rush and a push and the land that
We stand on is ours
It has been before
So why can't it be now?
And people who are weaker than you or I
They take what they want from life

I still say the 'front page' is what M-solo is all about. Best source for any news on Moz or The Smiths and any discussion/debate that is struck, especially the polls. The general forum? It's crap! To find anything relevant or interesting (they're in there!) takes too much time. I imagine anyone from M-solo that's remotely interested in this site will have already visited.

Well, M-solo's general forum looks like a proper forum now. And the trollers still exist, so time will tell if anything's really changed. Navigation is much improved though. Despite the new bells and whistles added, this place is still my home. :D

Never visited M-solo, but I'm assuming it is really large, right? it seems like the bigger the forum, the more the assholes and more people who just flame the gen chat. i don't know what the mods there are like, but having good mods makes a huge difference to whether a forum is enjoyable or not.

I've seen your name floating about :D
I was just commenting on the new forum, they did away with the old style. You can't post anonymously anymore, in the general chat. Never really understood how the moderating worked, but now you can see who moderates those threads. At least for now, the annoying posts have been relegated to the off-topic thread.

Its good for downloads. Apart from that, i dont really like huge forums, theres too many threads/replies to have time to read and topics you are interested in, get lost in a matter of minutes!
