Morrissey's dirtiest lyrics

For all things concerning Moz's solo career.

Funny, if not intentional.

"Oh, why do you come?!" - Suedehead

Just the fact that he mentions 'mammary glands' in a song....and then that the song is actually good! Gotta love it.

There's this b side or maybe it's a cover but the song is called skin storm. The whole song is pretty suggestive, to put it lightly.

Delight
See our faces are both shining
And I've never felt so wanted
Than when you cling with arms and legs
I tremble
You crush my burning lips like ashes
With so much skin to travel over
While my head spins (and you knew it would)
And oh, what a storm !
We shelter in our skin storm
I feel
Feel your breath burn on my body
You touch my senses, tingling brightly
Slip-and-sliding into heaven
Love could be a wonderful emotion
With such a rush of pleasure motion
When I'm dancing on our skin
And oh, what a storm !
We shelter in our skin storm
And oh, what a storm !
We shelter in our skin storm
Oh, but don't mention love
I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again
A rush and a push and the land that
We stand on is ours
It has been before
So why can't it be now?
And people who are weaker than you or I
They take what they want from life

Spot on!

"Gave me something that I won't forget too soon." - These Things Take Time

That part is left to your imagination a bit, wouldn't you say?

Scavenger, I'm not sure that those lyrics are Morrissey's, actually. Think the song was originally by a band called Bradford? (Don't quote me on that.)

"Bought on stolen wine
A nod was hte first step
You knew very well
What would happen next"

"Too freely on your lips
Words prematurely said
Oh, but I know what will make you smile tonight"

"A tough kid who sometimes swallows nails"

"And if you ever need self-validation
Just meet me in the alley by the railway station"

"I know I need hardly say
How much I love your casual way
Oh, but please put your tongue away
A little higher and we're well away
The dark nights are drawing in
And your humour is as black as them
I look at yours, you laugh at mine
And "love" is just a miserable lie
You have destroyed my flower-like life
Not once - twice
You have corrupt my innocent mind
Not once - twice
I know the wind-swept mystical air
It means : I'd like to see your underwear
I recognise that mystical air
It means : I'd like to seize your underwear
What do we get for our trouble and pain ?
Just a rented room in Whalley Range
What do we get for our trouble and pain ?
...Whalley Range !
Into the depths of the criminal world
I followed her ... "

"You can pin and mount me like a butterfly
But "take me to the heaven of your bed"
Was something that you never said"

"She wants it now
And she will not wait
But she's too rough
And I'm too delicate"

"God, how sex implores you
To let yourself lose yourself...
Stretch out and wait"

"It was dark as I drove the point home
And on cold leather seats
Well, it suddenly struck me
I just might die with a smile on my face
After all."

At all events when, after many hours, the door was opened and people thronged in, they found the murderer unconscious and in a raging fever. The prince was sitting by him, motionless, and each time that the sick man gave a laugh, or a shout, he hastened to pass his own trembling hand over his companion's hair and cheeks, as though trying to soothe and quiet him. But alas he understood nothing of what was said to him, and recognized none of those who surrounded him.

Thanks, I did mention that it might be a cover but I wasnt sure. Still, of all the songs to choose that one's pretty racy.

So ignore all the codes of the day
Let your juvenile influences sway

Not outright racy, but yeah, practically all of Stretch Out And Wait!

I've always thought the (w)hole Image of the opening track of Viva Hate 'Alsatian Cousin' is dirty! Maybe it's just my (dirty) mind eh but I read "tent-flap open wide" as intimating something much more intimate than it is, eh?

Were you and he Lovers ?
And would you say so if you were ?
On a forecourt
On a Friday
Passing my way
Oh...

Were you and he Lovers ?
And if you were, then say that you were!
On a groundsheet
Under canvas
With your tent-flap
open wide

A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"

So I ask (even though I know):
Were you and he Lovers ?
(Morrissey ©)

love

Grim
