Lets try the "album by album" thing here too

For all things concerning Moz's solo career.

For Viva Hate

Your favourite track:Suedehead

Your "worst" track:Angel, Angel, Down We Go Together

Best lyric:
When I sleep
With that picture of you framed beside my bed
Oh, it's childish and it's silly
But I think it's you in my room, by the bed
(...yes, I told you it was silly...)

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:
You had to sneak into my room
'just' to read my diary
"It was just to see, just to see"

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:
I find it incredibly hard to rank my Moz solo stuff,i would say this is the best album for someone to start of on as its the most easy listening and most Smiths like in my opinion but i wouldnt say its my favorite

Can't do it at the moment, but great idea Alex! The timing might be right as there are now more Morrissey fans on here than before.

I don't have all of them either. Do which ones you can. Or the ones you've heard the most songs from. You could still have an opinion about the albums that way. Anyone disagree? <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo-->

Viva Hate

Favourite track: Suedehead

Least favourite track: Angel, Angel, Down We Go Together

Best lyric: "The strange logic in your clumsiest line, it stayed emblazoned on my mind." - Break Up The Family

Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you: Suedehead. This song came out at the height of my love for the Smiths, their split being devastating. So it is semi-melancholy for me!

Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.: It was always at the top along with Vauxhall and I. (I agree with Asleep, it's a very easy album to listen to.)

I have only really heard the singles from this one, but I'd rate Suedehead as possibly my favourite track of his. Hairdresser On Fire is also great. In fact, I'd probably like this album a lot if I'd heard it.

I think we could put some tracks up on Gmail if you're interested. Let me know if you're willing to give it a listen.

Yeah, that'd be great Esther.

I have 'Suedehead', 'Everyday...' and 'Hairdresser On Fire' from that album- so anything else you think worth a listen you would ace <!--emo&:)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Your favourite track:
Everyday Is Like Sunday
Your "worst" track:
Bengali In Platforms
Best lyric:
I Don't Mind If You Forget Me
Song/lyric/line you relate to most/has relevance to you:
I'm so glad to grow older
To move away from those awful times
I want to see all my friends tonight
Overall opinion of album, how it compares to others, etc.:
Everyday Is Like Sunday and Suedehead are two of my favorite Morrissey tracks. So after the album Suedehead, this is the first one I listened to in full. It's still hard to compare, but this must be one of the better ones.
