What is your favourite non-album Morrissey single?

For all things concerning Moz's solo career.

Morrissey has released some of his best material outside of his proper albums. As far as the singles go, what's your favourite?

I finally voted LOTFIP but I think redondo beach is a class track too. What sold it was that redondo just being a cover rather than an original Mozzer track.

love

I don't believe I've heard any of these songs!

I shall investigate what ever gets the most votes <!--emo&B)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Interlude.

Who knows if it's real
Or just something we're both dreaming of
What seems like an interlude now
Could be the beginning of love

So naive, it fits my dreamy side <!--emo&:P-->Image<!--endemo-->

whoa, elk- thats crazy talk. you should definitely investigate them all- and im not juste sayin that cos im sucha massive fan that ilov nearly every song he's ever written. as big of a Smiths fan as you are you should make sure to check out the first five- juste get hold ofa copy of Bona Drag (theyre all on there to go along with "Suedehead", "Everyday Is Like Sunday" and some selected b-sides from that era- its not as good a compilation as it couldve/shouldve been, but its still juste about as good as any compilation ever made, including Hatful Of Hollow).

Can't believe no one's mentioned Boxers, which won my vote. Tough choice though!

Piccadilly Palare is a great upbeat tune, and I also love Ouija Board, Ouija Board, with the bonus of clasic Carry On actress, Joan Sims in the video. <!--emo&-->Image<!--endemo-->

November Spawned a Monster. Such great dancing on the video, strangely erotic for a song about a disabled and ugly child.

It has to be November Spawned A Monster for me as well, one of his very finest solo moments.

And sorry to be a pedant, but wasn't Redondo Beach on Live At Earls Court? Which means it's not actually a non-album single. Maybe that's why nobody has voted for it <!--emo&;)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Tony The Pony <!--emo&:B-->Image<!--endemo-->

<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Still drinking on the corner
Just don't say I didn't warn you
Always nagging big brother
He's only looking out for you
Tony The Pony
Tony The Pony
You're still standing on the corner
Just don't say I didn't warn you
Old and jealous big brother
You had your time and you spent it
Crying
Now, Tony The Pony
Tony The Pony
So, that's what they call you now ?
When you're free outside
So cold and hard and in control
And ...
There's a free ride on
Tony The Pony
Oh, why do you always wanna stop me
From doing the things in life that make me happy ?
And when I'm outside with friends, laughing loudly
Why do you always wanna stop me ?
Oh, I would never
I would never
But you will carry the can for anyone
The free ride on
Gullible Tony
You're drunker quicker
And you're sicker even quicker
For something heavy is gonna fall on you
Oh ...
And what do they call you now ?
When you're free outside
So cold and hard and in control
And, oh ... been a lark
There's a free ride on
F**ked-up Tony
I will never say I told you so
Or how I knew that something bad
Would happen to you
I don't wanna say I told you so
Oh, but Tony, I told you so !!!
I told you so
