Electronic

For all he has done since The Smiths.

I love Electronic's self-titled album. My most favorite song on that (and for a long time I played it to death) is Gettin Away With It. I love the 'strings' on it. So symphonic and melodic, and very upbeat. I absolutely love Marr's acoustic guitars on it as well. Sounds great with headphones on and cranked up!

i owned a cassette copy of the Electronic debut back in the day. I often sit and wonder whatever became of it ( the tape not the band.)

Noonan, you have yet to add anything to the Troy Tate thread.

As for the Teardrop Explodes...quality band in my opinion. If nothing else, I respect Julian Cope for his unabashed love for one Scott Walker. A love I know quite abit about.

Not sure how the Teardrop Explodes got into this thread (Troy Tate link I suppose) but yeah they are an excellent band. My favourite song is probably Reward or Ha Ha I'm Drowning.
