QUOTE (Grim O'Grady @ Nov 28 2005, 09:34 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> I've seen the Joycey stuff that's going up on ebay, I won an item for Lynne (Meat is Murder sleeve signed by Mike & Andy) back in December 2003 & arranged to pick it up from the sellers flat (he only lived a few miles away from me), well it was an aladdins cave of rare Smiths records & memorabillia & two yes two drum kits, the guy told me he was going to sell them on behalf of Mike, so I asked him how he came to have all this stuff, it was a room full by the way, they both use to be in a band called
The Mighty Wah! but it was just a touring band, he told me that they never released anything has them, that had all been done earlier when
'TMW!' had had some success. Anyway I got to touch
'The Smiths' drum kits & have a look through loads of stuff, one of the more strange items was a chippy list, inc someone who decided upon 'fish' so it was from before everyone was a veggy. There was quite a few white label test pressings that I wanted but he said I'd have to keep my eye open on ebay for them! I'm not in to posters & t-shirts tbh but there was plenty of them, especially the vest type that Mike wore.
love

Wow! Nice story- Do you happen to know if the fella is still selling things (and if so, by any chance, what was his username on eBay?!) <!--emo&:D-->
