Brilliant, cheers for that. More videos should act out the lyrics.

And the ending! WTF?!

Therapy? - Diane

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqHHdj-rGWI" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqHHdj-rGWI</a>

I wonder what the meaning of this song is. I mean, what sort of place is he in? (looks like a temple) ; what is the dark fluid on the floor? What does the ending of the video mean?
Keep it flaming your desire, always rising higher - Aim for stars and hit the sky

now i understand why the '80s are generally known as such a bad decade for music... <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6EAJbB56oQ&search=video%20kids%20woodpeckers%20from%20space" target="_blank">"woodpeckers from space" by the video kids</a>. ("animal tragic," if you'll pardon the pun).

I tend to love videos that feature live footage and are focused around tours/performances - this is one of Rufus Wainwright's very few videos, and it's to my probably top favourite song by him - so the combination is quite irresistible to me:

<a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=7mE4NGk3ppQ" target="_blank">The One You Love</a>

and despite the name, this is one of the best break-up songs I know

Some more goodness I discovered:

U2 - The Unforgettable Fire (favourite U2 video by far)
U2 - All I want is you

Leonard Cohen - First we take Manhattan

and, thanks to my beloved fellow forumer Shakespears Sister: Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight tonight (highly addictive song!)

Not a true fan of Ozzy's solo work (his Black Sabbath work was legendary though) but this video is Ozzy at his very best:

He's still got a strange sort of charms when on-stage, despite having ruined his body with all his drugs...

ImageGROOVY NIGHT CLUB LOUNGE FROM URUGUAY
I kid you not!!! Funky, lounge from Uruguay!!

This is "Sexteto Electronico Moderno" (translates to Modern Electronic Sextet). They were huge down in South America, playing nightclubs and huge concerts in Montevideo, and still managing to pump out 5 LPs.

Ozzy on stage floors me- especially with Sabbath. I am a techie, so I find extra beauty in his live work because of the media and FX. It is a shame that he ruined it all, but from a man that wild, could you really expect less?

I would say he ruined his persona, but somehow once he's on stage he rises from his half-deadness and still performs and entertains as the best. I hope Black Sabbath reunite soon again, I sadly missed last year's tour and I hope I someday will have the chance to see them. Iommi and Ozzy on stage is pure magic, regardless of any MTV sell-out or any drug abuse.

I can't remember if this has been done or not...and yeah i KNOW i'm not meant to be on here but i've done quite well (i think!) in my exams so far and i figured i could have a quick 5 minute break!

Soo, I saw this video at my mates ages ago, and then I finally saw an advert on tv for it (which was handy cause i'd forgotten who the song was by) Well, it's called Sewn by the Feeling (you may know them...they do that song that goes 'come fill my little heart right up!' hehe, it's quite popular at the moment you see..)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK7E254YNnM&search=the%20feeling%20sewn" target="_blank">here!</a>

haha i love this screenshot:

"Bloody hell...how'm I supposed to play this darn bass now?!"

It's a great video I reckon. Although at the end where his mouth gets sewn shut I have the urge to scream 'that's a bit emo' at him. But it's cool, and arty, nice combination!
