I guess it's rather poppy - but pop songs are not always devoid of intensity and depth....I love the lyrics of this one and I love how they melt with the simple tune.

This is the song I'm mad about at the moment.

you could go here and find a few songs of magnificence. (syrup coat, rabbit dreams, and butter on cane for example...though i'm not sure those would be the selections i would put up if i were tim or danni.)
but i suppose if you were into lyrics, you'd rather kick in your own teeth... :P

Sarah

It's only a new song but it sounds quite 80's to me. The line "Sarah, won't you tell me your name" perplexes me though.

Noonan McKane wrote:Hey, GA! Just noticed: 'Spread Your Wings'-Queen. Good call. John Deacon, unsung hero of British songwriting!

I was a huge Queen fan in my youth. For someone who couldn't sing, Deacon didn't half pen some belting tunes.

Indeed. You're My Best Friend, Spread Your Wings, Another One Bites the Dust... he also co-wrote Friends Will Be Friends.
