A note upon his desk

Is THAT the best you can do ?

i still hold that teh best song ever written is Magnetic Fields- 100,000 fireflies, i mean the lyrics are perfection and its just so beautiful!
Eligible, not too stupid,

knowledgeable,but not always right
salvageable, and free for the night.

"I went out to the forest and caught
A hundred thousand fireflies
As they ricochet round the room
They remind me of your starry eyes"

:D :D :D

Grand, grand stuff.

Edit:
Of course, It's Only Time has some wonderful lyrics:

"Why would I stop loving you
a hundred years from now?
It's only time.
It's only time.

What could stop this beating heart
once it's made a vow?
It's only time.
It's only time.

If rain won't change your mind,
let it fall.
The rain won't change my heart
at all."

Born of Frustration by James is definitely one of my total faves - and I'd say, one of my 'theme  songs' - very clever lyrics, very close to my heart...singing my life with his words... B)
