Smiths ones aside, of course.

Just ones that look beautiful, or are in some way interesting.

For example:-

And I don't know whether any of you have ever seen XTC's 'Go 2' album, but it's got a cover that consists solely of writing, and it's very clever.

Read it <a href='http://chalkhills.org/reelbyreal/a_Go_2.html' target='_blank'>here</a>.

I wanted to nominate Revolver by The Beatles (ooh, original eh?!), but being the Luddite I am I have no idea how to upload the sleeve!

For future reference, you just get the address of the image you want, and press the IMG button you can see when replying and paste the address in there. This'll put image tags around it, eg:-
Code: Select all
[IMG]http://www.images.com/example.jpg[/IMG]

If that helps.

Along with The Queen Is Dead, this would be my nomination for the greatest album cover ever:-

And yes ML you simply must adore the Beatles. I have known every word to every song since I was about five, and not because my parents loved them, but just because they have an instant appeal (to me at least) which demands attention and love.
