The Passenger -- Iggy Pop

I don't know if anybody said that already but this song is absolutely perfect in every way. Plus Iggy is beautiful and you can tell just by listening.

A note upon his desk
"P.S. Bring Me Home And Have Me!"
Leather elbows on a tweed coat
-Oh!-
Is THAT the best you can do ?
So came his reply :
"But on the desk is where I want you!"

Guided By Voices -- I Am a Scientist

Almost perfectly describes how I have found myself approaching most aspects of life -- unfortunately in some cases.

Pictures of You by the Cure and The Smiths Unlovable are really striking a cord with me at the moment. I spent the entirity of today of reading The Sorrows of Young Werther while listening to these two songs on loop. I think I've driven my house mates to despair.

:) I think I would have been driven to despair too... maybe a whole album or two would be doable, but two songs? I would certainly begin to turn into Jack Nicholson ala the Shining. Those songs are really beautiful though, I agree. What is the book about? You should throw up a review in the books section!

I've moved back home for the summer now and have been driving my parents insane with Last of the Famous International Playboys. I seem to have gone through my three yearly obsession with crime and murder.

As for the book, I shall write a review on the book tomorrow, if I get the chance...

Hmm... There Is an Ocean by Donovan?
And of course...
The Boy with the Thorn in His Side - The Smiths
The Universal - Blur
Dead Souls - Joy Division
Temptation (7'' Version) - New Order
Spanish Bombs - The Clash
Street Spirit (Fade Out) - Radiohead
So Young - Suede
Supersonic - Oasis
I wanna go home... I don't want to stay... give up life as a BAD MISTAKE...

Life is good; and I feel great. 'Cause mother says I was a great mistake.
