Favourite vocalist?

What's your favourite vocalist? apart from the Moz, I mean (though his voice is hugely attractive)

Mine i have to say is Gregory Issacs. His singing makes me melt into a big puddle. I was so happy when I saw a picture of Morrissey holding a copy of gregory issacs 'love is over due'

John Lennon, Lou Reed, Doug Yule, young Bowie, Jim Morrison, young Jagger but not too young, I mean the 70s Jagger, Janis Joplin, Sinatra and Joey Ramone.

Paul Banks - I could listen to him sing anything
and David Gahan from Depeche Mode - very sexy voice <!--emo&B)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Oh, but don't mention love
I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again
A rush and a push and the land that
We stand on is ours
It has been before
So why can't it be now?
And people who are weaker than you or I
They take what they want from life

I quite like crap voices with "character", like Ian Brown or Courtney Love, Julian Cope some of the time, but for an actually good voice, I'd say... maybe... Ian McCulloch? Ian Curtis? (Ian Dury? No.)

Absolutely so, I second that completely!!
Other vocalists I utterly love are Rufus Wainwright, Nick Cave, Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Freddie Mercury, Paul McCartney...and, well, so many more, this list could easily get too long, so let me stop for now.

P.S. Believe it or not, but a vocalsit I just happen to adore is our good old Mozzy <!--emo&:P-->Image<!--endemo-->

I'm breaking through, I'm bending spoons
I'm keeping flowers in full bloom.
