I am just getting into this band, I know I've said that I prefer The Strokes, but I regret of that comment. They are really good.
Now I am trying to find out who sings each song... just to know if I go with Dirty Pretty Things or Babyshambles.

So, who sings in Time for Heroes?

Ah, my favourite Libs song. I think it's Pete, but I'm no expert, and if I were to be completely honest I would suggest you check out neither of the above bands <!--emo&:)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Really... I see, so they have to be together or they suck. I have never listened to DPT or Babyshambles.

And yes, Time for Heroes is such a great song, I love his voice (Doherty you said), the way he pronnounces the words, you can feel that he's spitting while he sings.

Time for heroes is Pete.
I just listened to the Babyshambles album, I didn´t expect it to be that good
And it don´t mean I don´t love you, when I put a gun to your face

there's a couple of decent babyshambles songs i reckon like the 'man who came to stay' and 'killamangiro' but really it's a massive shame that the libs imploded so quickly and that Pete's life has become such a tabloid car crash. Can't see that having a happy ending. Haven't heard a lot of Carl's band DPT but have been listening to the libs' bassist John Hassall's band recently, Yeti- theyre pretty good. Got a brilliant song called 'never lose your sense of wonder.' Anyone know/like them?

I´ve only heard 2 Yeti songs, but teir both brilliant. I don´t like Dirty Pretty thing that much.
I feel the same way about Peter, the whole thing cannot end good. The tabloid thing is really annoying, when you talk to someone they never know Libertines or Babyshambles, but they know everything about Pete

Love the Libertines.

Such beauty and anger and love and drugs. Great rock and roll band.

I like the acoustic song 'Back from the Dead'. Very sad.

Up the Bracket is one of my favourite albums of all time.

#1 Up the Bracket
#2 Time for Heroes
#3 What a Waster
#4 Vertigo
#5 Mockingbird
#6 Don't Look Back into the Sun
#7 What Katie Did
#8 Can't Stand Me Now
#9 What Became of the Likely Lads
#10 Arbeit Macht Frei

And since you guys are having a discussion about Babyshambles, I have to agree that The Blinding EP deserves a place in everyone's Indie Hall of Fame.

#1 I Love You but You're Green
#2 Fuck Forever
#3 Killamangiro
#4 The Lost Art of Murder
#5 There She Goes
#6 Side of the Road
#7 You Talk
#8 Carry on Up the Morning
#9 The Blinding
#10 Delivery
I wanna go home... I don't want to stay... give up life as a BAD MISTAKE...

Life is good; and I feel great. 'Cause mother says I was a great mistake.
