We should upload songs from our music libraries for eachother to listen to, just random songs.

Good idea <!--emo&:B-->Image<!--endemo--> Would that be the Gmail account we'd be be uploading to? And how random should we make it? This could be a lot of fun! <!--emo&:P-->Image<!--endemo-->

But anyway, expect some songs from me.

I think this is adequately covered by the MP3 and File Sharing threads. Stick random stuff there, by all means.

How about if people post the title of songs they really, really want on this thread, and hopefully somebody here will have it and be able to upload it? Just a thought...

Have renamed the thread...better suggestions welcome.

My request:

I would like to hear any music by the band Bang Bang Machine, any old John Fahey recordings, and anything on Sarah records that isn't by the Field Mice. Unlikely perhaps but if anyone has anything of this sort I'd be much pleased and grateful.

Ellis, I happened to stumble upon Wake the other day, heard any of their stuff? They are Field Mice II. <!--emo&:D-->Image<!--endemo-->

Back on track, I'll have to assemble a small list and revisit this. Everyone has a wishlist!

I have Dance Of The Inhabitants Of The Palace Of King Philip XIV Of Spain by John Fahey, if yer interested.

That's taken longer to type than it will to upload!

Hehe, other song titles include 'View East From The B&O Railroad Viaduct And The Riggs Road Intersection'...

But anyway, I have that particular track live, but if it's a studio recording then I'm muchly interested- I've only got a live album.

It's definitely a studio version as far as I can tell. Just uploaded it to the Gmail account.

If anyone has any old Soul/R&B/Jazz I'd be very appreciative, been really into that sort of thing recently.

Ed, if you could possibly be just a tad more specific I'll see what I can do. <!--emo&:B-->Image<!--endemo--> I've got quite a bit of old soul stuff in particular.
