I'm listening to She Said She Said by The Beatles. I love Revolver <!--emo&:D-->

Um, good bands? Let me seee... Well, Radiohead are
very good, The Bends, Fake Plastic Trees, Sit Down. Stand Up, My Iron Lung, Knives Out, Street Spirit, High and Dry, Electioneering, and Just especially.
The Killers also rock an amazingly large amount, but you might have already heard of them. Oh, and The Cure are also a great band, despite Morrissey and Robert Smith's mutual hatred of eachother... Recommended tracks: Lovecats, Lovesong, Killing an Arab, 10:15 Saturday Night, Boys Don't Cry, and In Between Days.
The Ramones too, I went on a Ramones downloading spree last night, Judy Is A Punk and Blitzkreig Bop are cool <!--emo&:)-->

OOH, and Jeff Buckley!! I
love Jeff! Grace, Last Goodbye, Lilac Wine, So Real, Mojo Pin, Lover You Should've Come Over... Agh, every Jeff song is amazing! There's a really good live version of Hallelujah, where he segues into I Know It's Over near the end. And he covered The Boy With The Thorn In His Side live (as did Belle and Sebastian!), and it's one of the few good Smiths covers I've heard.

I decree today that life is simply taking and not giving
England is mine, it owes me a living
But ask me why and I'll spit in your eye
Oh, ask me why and I'll spit in your eye
But we cannot cling to the old dreams anymore
No, we cannot cling to those dreams
Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body?
I dunno...
Under the iron bridge we kissed
And although I ended up with sore lips
It just wasn't like the old days anymore
No, it wasn't like those days
Am I still ill...?
