Yeah, I caught that on M-solo. Interesting all the things people are making of the tracklisting.
One comment there caught my eye, the comparisons to some of this other songs. I too, had thought the last track reminded me of "You Know I Couldn't Last".
And then of course the cover. Oh what will the cover be like?!

""Dear God Please Help Me"

Does Morrissey believe in God? I thought he didnt.

Does he mean it in a metaphoric sense?

I dont recall him ever saying he doesnt believe in God and actually I do remember an interview where he said he'd like to be religious and does try but can find it hard sometimes...as most people do.

the tracks have interesting titles <!--emo&B)-->Image<!--endemo-->
Oh, but don't mention love
I'd hate the pain of the strain all over again
A rush and a push and the land that
We stand on is ours
It has been before
So why can't it be now?
And people who are weaker than you or I
They take what they want from life

Is THAT the best you can do ?

Boy, his titles over the years have gone from short and sweet to, long and wordy. Completely his style now of course. But I agree, would have been nice to be surprised by the tracklisting. I'm still surprised it's coming along at a swift pace. Hm, which makes me now wonder about his book.

Hey Pash <!--emo&:)-->Image<!--endemo-->

Sometime last summer? I read on M-solo reports of his book making the rounds to publishers. (It was never made clear if it was autobiographical or not.) The story died as quickly as it surfaced. Hm, may have to do a little research. If I find anything, I'll link it here.

*bump*

theres a review of the album in NME. shall i type it up and post it? (its over 2 pages so im hoping someone has a scanner and word-recognition software to save me the effort...)
anyway it sounds really good and really interesting and different (apparently very experimental and a real mix of styles), and i think he is looking GORGEOUS in the photos as well!
i wonder what the artwork will be like?
